for context i was trying to move my sims 4 game to a new ssd so i downloaded it onto the ssd thinking the game data would transfer a little dumb ik so i re downloaded it back to my original drive thinking it would go back to normal. My main issue now is that when i open the sims my game is completely reset i still have all my packs but the saves or mods aren't there so i looked for the game file and it seems my game has made a new documents file instead of using my already existing file. the file where my reset game is located in, this pc\C:\Users\(my user)\Documents. and where my save files and mods are are in C:\Users\(my user)\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. is there a way i can somehow revert it to how it was i haven't seen anybody else have this problem and i would hate to lose my cc and saves.
@jelli768 You could simply move your saves and other user files to the folder Sims 4 is reading. That's the easiest fix and also the safest long-term. When your files are in OneDrive's folder, a syncing error could deny the game access to the folder or delete your saves or redownload content you don't want; none of that can happen when the file path is Users > your username > Documents. And you can always manually sync files by copying them to the OneDrive folder.
If you really want your files in OneDrive, I can help with that; just ask. But please create a backup of anything you don't want to lose first.
