@rc1340 Does your computer run Windows or macOS?
It runs Windows.
I also want to add a couple of more details about my situation, but I don't know if they'll help.
I did more research about my problem and noticed that people were talking about the "Load Game" icon that people can click to find their saved games, this doesn't show up when the game loads. I included a picture of my screen.
The game looks brand new in a way, but I'm still logged into my account, and EA shows the accurate amount of hours I have played on Sims. I can see I still have all the ad-on's I have downloaded/purchased like City Living, stuff packs, and more.
The game also looks different from what I'm used to. Now the screen is zoomed in closer, so all the words look bigger. The game also loads much faster than before it reset.
Another thing I read about is something about the files. I don't have a clue about how the files work, and I'm afraid I may have accidently deleted something important that messed it all up. But I will say I also deleted some mods and custom content, I don't remember which ones.
Sorry for the long message, I hope this can give an idea on where it went wrong. If anything I will just contact EA's customer service to see if they can do something. I'm trying everything to fix it, but there are some things I don't understand. I really don't want to have to start all over. I was happy with my game.

@rc1340 More information is (almost) always appreciated, so the long post isn't a problem. It sounds like all of your user data disappeared: saves, mods and custom content, even the Options.ini file that stores your graphics settings. I've therefore merged your posts with the master thread for this issue. Please see the first post on page one.
