Along with many over the past couple of days I had trouble opening both the EA app and the sims 4 on my PC. I followed a few guides on steam which were leading me nowhere. As I continued with guides I feel that I made a mistake. I misconstrued uninstalling with deleting and deleted the game from my desktop but retrieved it after a few minutes. I finally stumbled across a guide that fixed both the EA app and the game itself. However, when the game opened all my progress was gone. After panicking for a few minutes I checked the game files and found that they were all there. I think that the game essentially reset itself when I deleted the launcher from my desktop but have no way of knowing for sure. I followed so many guides and I'm not sure if that is where I messed up and I would like to know if this progress can somehow be saved. Any and all help is appreciated!
