So, after the game updated today, I attempted to play and got the error message below. It states the game is already running. It's not. I have double checked the task manager. nothing is running. Usually when this happens, I just move the Sims 4 file folder from the EA folder in documents. Today that didn't work. I have attempted to uninstall/reinstall the game several times. tried to repair the game and restarted the computer. Nothing has changed and now the file folder is gone too, even though I put it back after the previous moving. I have spent all day trying to fix the game with no progress. I'm at wits end and have gotten very frustrated. Please help me.
