I got the new patch that came out the other day. I removed my entire mods folder to get ready for the patch. I watched discord for new and updated mods before I put anything back in the game. I went to EA App, to hit the update button and got the patch, then went to hit play, as a vanilla game, as I always do on patch day. The game seemed to be loading but it then said " initiation error can not start the game" this was totally new never happened before. After an exhaustive search for an answer, and after doing every suggestion, mind you my mods folder is on the desktop waiting to go back in when mods are updated that I use. After uninstalling sims 4 and reinstalling it and the EA app, this gave me a totally new start, this time is claims the game is already running, and it isnt, although I did check with task manager, and it was not there, and I could not find it anywhere. So I downloaded Steam, and it says the game is already running. I have played sims 4 since 2016, have spent tons of money on video cards and ram for this game not to mention updated the entire computer so it will run the game as it is the only game i actually play. No one seems to know how to fix this can you please fix it
