Currently having this problem as well since the latest update. Cant figure out how to get the folder back because the game wont launch. Ive tried everything that has been suggested and nothing has worked.
@inuyasharules659 The Sims 4 folder isn't reappearing because the game won't launch, which is to be expected. What happens when you try to play? If you see an error, please post a screenshot.
Either way, please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
