@roxiekittie It sounds like you reinstalled the game to the wrong location. Please make copies of your saves and Tray folders, plus anything else you'd like to preserve. Uninstall the game through the EA App and reinstall it to somewhere that is NOT in Documents. The default C:\Program Files\EA Games is fine, unless you want or need to install it into a new folder, in which case create that new folder.
@tiffy_is_here Did you actually boot into safe mode, which shouldn't be necessary, or did you try something else? Please let me know exactly what you did.
Please also let me know whether a new save is similarly affected.
So, That was an issue and i brought that to supports attention, and they didnt think anything of it, all my files that should be in my EA/sims 4 folder where in the sims 4 folder where the bin and game files were, and idk how that happend so i went i unstalled every single thing and reinstalled every single thing, and it was still giving me issues but i saw the 2 seperate folders this time....so i just went to the Sims 4 Icone itself on my desktop and right clicked it and choose run as admin and i cant even believed it worked I been dealing with this for a week
