I am getting the error message [de4ee14f00e76:00000000:b0d852b] after I deleted everything from my computer and I have tried to everything that the message told me to. Is there anyway that I can get back my progress?
@CheekSoSandy If OneDrive is running on this computer at all, whether you use it or not, try pausing syncing. You can do so by right-clicking the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
If that doesn't help, do you see a Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts? If so, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop; if it copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, stop here and let me know.
Otherwise, when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If this doesn't help, or you didn't find this Sims 4 folder, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account. You won't have access to any of your existing saves or other user data, but that can be addressed later. For now, just let me know whether the game works at all.
