Ever since the update before last, I have been unable to play The Sims 4. Prior to this update, I had zero issues. After that, I can not even get my game to open. It usually shows me an error message saying game content is damaged or missing. If the game does open I will click on a household, the game will go to the loading screen, and then open straight back up to the world selection screen. Sometimes I get an error message and other times I do not. All it says is that it suggests relaunching the game. I tried starting a new game just in case the update corrupted my save file and it still does not work. I have tried so many different ways of troubleshooting such as deleting mods, deleting and reinstalling the EA app, deleting and reinstalling The Sims 4 multiple times, repairing the game multiple times, making sure there are no issues with my device running other things, repairing EA, and searching forums and I have no idea how to fix it. I have been playing The Sims 4 since it came out and have never had this issue. I am very frustrated and discouraged because it has been weeks of me trying to fix it and I can no longer find any way to chat with EA support. I am not playing on a new device or anything like that and I did not download other cc or mods or anything since the update that could have broken my game. I have included a screenshot of the error message that I keep getting.
