i have this same issue but i dont have any cc installed and i was looking at a different page that was similar to this and i tried making a new user on my pc as someone recommended and it works there i can open my game and play. I would like it if i could get it to work on my account. i tried a lot of things i just really dont want to have another user account on my pc when its just me. on my main account i tried uninstalling and reinstalling i tried to repair and i get the same error but again i have no cc installed just the base game.
@Amariilee A few questions to get you in the right tech support a non-mod/CC user:
im unsure how to do much with troubleshooting. I did make a new user on my pc and it works there. I attached a screenshot of the error I get and have no cc on windows
