I want to play and have installed, and reinstalled, the Sims 4. I downloaded custom content, but I haven't even put them into the Mods folder yet, just in a file on my desktop for keeping them temporarily. BUT the game will not open and says the file in damaged and needs repair or the mods should be deleted. It also suggests the app should be repaired through Origin or reinstalled completely. I downloaded the game through steam though, and I never had any mods actually active. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, so that's not the issue. Also, I've done this a couple times already before on other peoples computer and had the game plus all my custom content work, so I'm not sure what I did wrong this particular time. What else is there to do? ToT
