I've been trying to download the Sims 4 onto my new laptop. The EA app installs it, but when it's complete and I hit play, I get an error that says it cannot open the game. It tells me to uninstall any mods (which I don't have), or to repair the game, or open with Origin. The origin app has never been on this computer. I used it on my old computer to play the Sims, though. I have repaired the game three times, I've repaired the EA app, I've cleared the EA cache, delete EA folders, and I've uninstalled the game and the app three times, I've rebooted the computer several times. Nothing is working and I continue to get the same error. How can I fix this and play my game?
