Hello, let's go straight to the point
It's been half a year hat I cant run the sims 4 (I used to play it like 1 time every month dont judge)
Always the same error (135dec40:29fooe84:18a1dd51) I've tried all the things that worked for people before (whitelist The Sims 4 in windows defender) but that doesnt help, I've reinstalled multiple times the game and EA's software
I've even installed the game trought steam, nothing works, today I took the whole day to try and figure out why it doesnt work. I done a reset of my pc (wiped all the files), reinstalled the game and still wont open on my main account on my pc (my wife's session works fine)
All drivers up to date
If you guys have any idea..
Here is my components :
RX 6750XT
R5 5600X
32Gb ram
Aorus B550M
Thanks in advance for your consideration
@JeMangeMCDO Wiping your computer would have taken care of many of the possible causes of this error, but not all of them. For example, if OneDrive is running on this computer, it could be interfering now just as it was before. So please review the suggestions in the first post of this thread:
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Sims-4-already-running/m-p/13276380
And try any that apply to you now. The error covered in that thread is a bit different, but the causes are largely the same.
- 2 years ago@puzzlezaddict Thanks a lot ! My issue was the user folder (I've never used OneDrive since it's an invasive software) I still dont know why my reset didnt do anything but thanks for the solution man, you are life saving 🙏
