I was going to play the Sims 4 but I received a pop-up message stating that I am not able to start the game. I have attached a photo of the message as I wouldn't be able to remember what it says. I don't have any cc or mods.

Sakura1979 This error is typically antivirus-related, so please set exceptions in yours for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64, or the entire Bin folder they're in. Set an exception for EADesktop.exe as well. You may need to repair the game first.

The error is different but related, and the first post lists everything I know of that helps. If one of these steps helps you, please let me know which one so I can add it to the list for the initialization error too.
Thank you for you help. I am not computer savvy so is there another way to explain what you have suggested? Until then I'll send this to my Aunt and hopefully she'll understand it better.
