Dead sim is alive?

How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every Expansion, 5 game packs, and 2 stuff packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It happened to me when I used the mortified cheat to kill my (vampire) sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim has a normal death but then is alive in the relationship panel, walking around, calling and texting my sim and acting alive in general. And then, won't die.
What do you expect to see? A "dead" sim walking around alive
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

(DISCLAIMER) In the sims 4 I  have 1 mod (the book of chaos) which I didn't use in this situation, and I have some cc clothes, hair and makeup in my game. So, I used the sims.add_buff buff_mortified cheat on my vampire male sim, and his death was normal, grim came, I got his urn etc. except, when he died, he went into the ground. I didn't think much of it, and I don't know if it has anything to do with this, but now even though he's not in my household and his ex wife classifies him as her deceased spouse he's walking around, texting her and in general acting alive as well as looks alive. I saved before I realized this, and now he's unkillable and spamming my sim with texts. I know this is unrelated, but I tried moving my sims 4 folder onto my desktop, going into a game and letting it generate a new folder, then putting my save back in, and it didn't change anything, he's still unkillable without any cc or mods in my game. Is there any way to fix this? or have I ruined my save?
