Dine Out - waiting whole day for food to get delivered

All the times I have tried to get food from the restaurant, my sims have been waiting the WHOLE day for it to be delivered. Any way to fix this? it's a joke, spending money on something that isn't working properly

    Did it ever get delivered ?

    What restaurant are you using ? Self-build, downloaded, premade ?

    Haven't had food delivered yet no. It's the restaurant it allows you to place when you first play with Dine Out and also a restaurant I downloaded from the gallery. It's not my restaurant it's just when I get my sims to go to one the food isn't delivered

    Is it cooked at all ? Does the waiter take your order, then goes over to the chef station ?

    no doesnt look like it gets cooked, others get their food. and the waiter does deliver my order to the chef

    Are you using any mods at all ?

    Could you try a new save for testing purposes ?
