EA sims4 keeps closing

@mtessh  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game,  a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and let me know how it runs.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

So I didn't see it on the external harddrive. But I made a newfolder on my actual computer and move the one on my computer into there. I don't have enough space on my computer, only 100gb of internal space. I'm currently waiting for the game to start and now it just has preparing game load screen. I'm not tech savvy at all 

@mtessh  Whatever user folder Sims 4 is reading, please move or rename it.  You don't need to move it back to your computer's internal drive; renaming accomplishes the same thing.  For reference, this is the folder I'm talking about:

I did it. Worked for a couple hours but a little buggy, it just closed out of everything again. 😢

How do you get or do that? For real, I'm not tech savvy haha.

@mtessh  Having only 4 GB RAM isn't helping Sims 4, although I'm not sure it's exactly the issue here.  Still, it's worth testing.  So please try playing in a clean boot:

The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run.  Disable the rest as described.

When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled.  If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.

Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.

If you get another crash, please repeat the test, except taking your computer offline as well.  You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.

Did as you stated. When I tried to open EA it didn't work. The one thing I couldn't figure out, is what to close in task manager after rebooting
