Edits in CAS (including Mods and Non-Mods) are not saved after clicking Save

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.50.67.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Non. Just Sims 4.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Edit in CAS on any sim, make edits with both non-mods and mods, and click the check mark (save). You will see non of the edits are saved.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sims is exactly the same as before I Edited in CAS.
What do you expect to see? I expect the sim to reflect all the edits I made in CAS, either with mods or not with mods.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Obviously quite upset here. I made a lot of changes to my sim's appearances for her wedding by Editing in CAS. Not all the changes I made in CAS were using Mods. Some were regular edits that came with the original game (non-custom contents). After I clicked the check-mark (the save button), the sim back in the live-game looks exactly the same as before I edited in CAS. I really hope the edited sim who I clicked the check-mark for is saved somewhere and is retrievable?

Restarting the game did not help. Disabling then enabling Mods again did not help. I do not want to Start a New Game or create another sim to replace the existing sim. This issue is not isolated to this one sim and is not isolated to certain Mods. This issue applies to all Mods from various sources and to all non-custom/non-mods contents.

  • Okay so a “permanent” solution issss to download MCCC, let your sims call to find a job, then they should turn into the CAS version you want, then you go to MCCC >MCC CAS > Copy/ Paste > copy genetics then everytime they turn back to the pre CAS edit version you go to MCCC copy/paste again and select paste genetics.
if you have more than one sim this happens to, just copy something like their face or their body, just pasting the face should turn them back to their full CAS edits version! Hope this helps lol let me know if anyone found a truly permanent solution.
