Forcing switch from Origin to EA app

Hello. I have a doubt. When I have to mandatorily switch to the EA app how will the path to access the files be changed?
My situation is particular, I play from PC and when I installed The Sims 4, I chose an option in Origin that allowed me to move the game to another hard drive (F: internal HD). As you can see from the attached pictures, the files involving Saves, Mods, etc. are always in Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4 (Main Hard Drive), while the access files to the game and expansions are in F:>The Sims 4. I would like to understand if the EA app will automatically read these settings or if I have to handle this manually.

  • @GiardiniDiMarzo  The EA App should automatically detect Sims 4 as installed and continue to use the location you've chosen.  You can also confirm that the App sees the correct location, or change it if you want to, by clicking Manage > View properties.  The install location will be listed above the box for advanced launch options.

I think it MAY be fixed now, the layout looks different than it was when I tried the last three times. My games were still installed and I have no issues so far. Worst case scenario you have to re download the game packs etc. and you can always backup your saves. Sadly, It's a requirement now. I do find it weird that Mac users are allowed to continue using Origin.
