Frozen Loading Screen - Now crashing

I’m having the problem of loading into anything new game, old game (which have now all been deleted) will not work, stuck on the loading screen for hours. Over the past few days I deleted all mods, redownloaded again. Removed them from folder. Deleted the whole sims 4 folder before pressing play. So lost all my progress, my gallery saves and families.
Make it to the main menu but as soon as I press play or resume I’m stuck on the loading screen.
Uninstalled the whole game and the Ea app but still no difference. Bout losing my mind now. Updated my game drivers, done scans thinking it’s virus’s or anything but nope all fine and updated.
Tonight when trying to play after reinstalling last night thinking that would work. It is even worse. Load up the game still without any mods or any data as if it was brand new and as soon as I press new game or play scenario it gets stuck on the loading screen all over again, not only that but now crashing and even restarting my laptop.

  • frostedbeatle89  Please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

  • frostedbeatle89  Your dxdiag crashed while running, which could be a random glitch or a sign of a system issue.  So please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:

    • Hit Windows key-X
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
    • Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
    • The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
    • After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
    • Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
    • Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
    • Post the message you receive here

Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates.  If any install, restart again afterwards.

Please also disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.

If that doesn't help, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there.  Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account or any email address.  You'll be able to launch the game without reinstalling anything.

If that doesn't help either, please post a new dxdiag.  Because the process crashed, your current one is missing some info that may or may not be relevant.
