juliawickers The errors in your dxdiag could be related to the graphics driver, but the dxdiag itself crashed while running. So before doing anything else, please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
- Click Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, click Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer, click Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
You can test the game again if you want, but if the same issue happens, the next step is to do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the graphics driver. Here's how:

Rather than using the newest driver from Nvidia, try a slightly older one. You can find them here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/
I would try version 577.00 first, since it was stable as far as I ever saw. You can work your way forward from there simply by updating to a newer version, but going backards would mean using DDU again. Skip the two 580.xx versions. You'll only want Game Ready Drivers.
If this doesn't help either, please post a new dxdiag.
