Game Crashes 10 - 20 minutes into playing

My game keeps crashing about 10-20 minutes every time I play. The amount of time it takes to crash is not consistent but it almost never makes it to 30 minutes. It is starting to make the game unplayable. I have done my best to save very often but I lose whatever has happened since the last save. It give no warning, just stops and closes. Almost like I hit the save and exit button but its not saving and I am in the middle of playing. Its seriously becoming unplayable and I am not sure what to do. - Side note I did report it on the EA app.

    Please post the contents of the lastcrash.txt file.
    Also attach a DxDiag as a text file.

    Hey! This has been happening for me as well. I read on a separate forum to go to game options and click the checkmark next to DirectX 9 and then exit the game. This fixed the issue for me as far as I can tell. The only difference in this setting is Sims 4 rolling out Direct X 11 which is unnecessarily high GPU for the average player like myself, so I don’t need it while they work out the kinks! Hope this helps!!
