Game crashes after creating a save file (PC + EA app)

The game crashes after creating a save file. Tried to follow instructions of https://forums.ea.com/idea/the-sims-4-bug-reports-en/start-here-crashingback-to-mapendless-loading-patch-117-221/12512130#community-12512130-gameCrash and it worked until a save file was created in C:\Users\[me]\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves.

After the save was created, the game would constantly crash, most often before even loading to menu. Deleting save files would fix this, but the crashing returns every time, no matter if it's a new save or imported one. Tried repairing the game, reinstalling it, repairing and reinstalling EA app, and even resetting PC for a full clean start. No mods were installed. No error code, only EA app's message "Failed to launch the game, try again in a moment"

    Alusss100​  Thanks for the dxdiag.  Please look for an update for your motherboard's BIOS.  Find the exact model (it'll be printed on the board itself, among other places), google "[board name] drivers," and look for the Asus support page.  Your current BIOS version is 1601, but I can't tell whether it's current because the dxdiag doesn't list your exact model.

    If that doesn't help, boot into BIOS and disable CPU Turbo Boost, which may be called something slightly different.  It'll be under the Advanced settings and have Turbo in its name though.
