Game crashes during gameplay, since latest update

Hi,  I've been playing the Sims for years, no mods or cc, completely trouble free, until the latest update :( It is now crashing during gameplay - no error message, just freezes and crashes out...

Thank you v much for this, I have updated the graphics driver (and the USB hub driver just in case), made sure to restart after installation, and it still crashes

I did also unplug the USB hub, and restarted, and played just on the laptop, but again still crashing :(

Here is the latest dxdiag just in case it is helpful again
