Hey folks. SO I've played the game and the first day was doing great. no bugs what so ever.Now I'm having this probem that every time I save the game manually or try to travel with sims to different lofts the game just crashes. I get a white screen and "Sims 4 does not respond". Im so mad cause the save doesnt work at all now and all the time i have spend I have to replay and if the save doesnt work.. well thats why im here.I've played with 3 families and happens with all of them.INFO for TECHSUPPORT:http://pastebin.com/zwNc7agE

I'm having the same issue, my game crashes when it goes over 3,4 GB RAM usage, my save files are 55 MB. My OS is 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate with 16GB of RAM so I do not think it's my OS that is the issue,My guess is that because sims4 is only 32-bit, it can't handle using so much RAM and it seems having trouble clearing stuff to load. I like to play for long periods of time with the same sims with aging turned off and the save files just keeps getting bigger eventally resulting in the game having to load too much and crashes when I try to travel or save.This is my main problem with the game and I would appreciate if EA could give Maxis some resources so it could be fixed. I think this is just going to become more of an issue when more expansions will be added and the game will have much more things it needs to load.

He means that you have to rename the Sims 4 folder or move the folder to another folder. When you restart the game the game recreates new Sims folder.And info to tech support: I deleted the whole Sims 4 folder and started the game again, but the game still crashes if I save the game. Travelling goes OK.

@ahtis89Have you tried to reinstall the game/Origin?

A few things you could try:Go the the directory C:\Users\[User name]\Documents\Electronic Arts\" and rename or move the folder "The Sims 4". Relaunch the game and try again. Your save files will be missing for now, but if the game works without the crashes, then move the "saves" and "tray" folder from the old "The Sims 4" folder into the new one to get back your old CAS and Save games.If that doesn't work, you could try right clicking Sims 4 in Origin and Repair Game, and should this not work, you could try reinstalling completely.Report back your findings. 🙂

Game crashes everytime I SAVE or TRAVEL

Just want to verify, if you start a new game and travel with any sim there, or attempt to save, does this happen again?

So Im already playing and then

Hey!

I did the Orgin repair before but it did not work. But I tested the removing "Sims 4"-file and after running the game with a family I deleted the save and tray folders and added the Original ones. Game seems to work for now. I'll let you know if it comes back. Thanks for the help!

@ahtis89 Can you open a new thread for it, along with an updated DXDiag (in case it proves necessary) and the steps you've tried so far?

Let's keep this thread "solved" for the issue you were having prior to that, so others with the same issue can find help here. 🙂

Hey, problem came back. Game still crashes if I save the game. Reseting the "save" and "tray"-folders did not help. Next step?

when you say rename or move what exactly do you mean? Im not sure i follow.
