Game crashes when I try to add a new sim to family
Ever since the toddler update today my sims game crashes. I tried to adopt from a computer in game and it crashed. I figured it was the computer I was using on sims so I tried a different computer after restarting the game. It crashed again. I then tried to add a new sim into the family via manage household only for sims to crash another time. Finally I tried making a new family to see what the problem was. Once I clicked add another member to the household the game crashed.
- I do have custom content in my game, and it's never given me problems before.
- It only crashes when I try to add a new member to the household (Adopt, or in cas.)

After removing the mods folder and trying again I had no problems. Could this be because I updated the game without removing the mods folder? My game still only crashes when adding a sim to a household.
