Game crashes while participating in debate events at uni

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, All game packs except batuu, realm of magic, and vampires. Paranormal, knitting, Tiny, MFP, Laundry, Kids room
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim participate in the saturday morning debate club event. Attempt saving the game. Or participate while part of the society group, and observe what happens upon completing a debate and being promoted to seasoned user.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have a sim who is enrolled at university and lives at home. She is also a member of the debate club. Every single time I send her to the saturday morning debate, I have her participate, and then my game crashes.I have tried it 5 different times and it happens every single time. 1st time, I tried saving during the event, and it crashed mid save without saving. I tried it 4 more times and it crashes mid debate if I don't save. She'll participate, get credit for participating and gets promoted to seasoned member, and then it immediately crashes and exits out of the entire game.
What do you expect to see? I expect her to be able to participate in debate club events and get promoted and then be able to save and continue playing without crashes.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I'm not sure if this started happening after the last update or not. This is the 1st uni sim I've played since any of the last updates so I just discovered the issue today. I have tried repairing the game in origin as well as clearing out all my caches.
