So before the update I was able to go into the apartment in Sammy Shuno without a problem. After the update I tried my hand at going into at least two semi channel apartments. Both times I was immediately crashed back to desktop. So then I tried it after taking out all my saves and my mods.. The game still crashed back to desktop.
AmeliaTheBest91 Does this happen in a new save too? Please test for comparison's sake and let me know. Please also list the specific apartments where you see this issue, or any that you CAN load.
Yes i tested with no saves and with saves still crashes
I'm having the same issue. It could be linked to this other issue I reported, but who's to say?

AmeliaTheBest91 Then please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know whether the game crashes in any other context.
