After using Fairy Magic...
gdover92 Does the game crash if you plug your monitor directly into the motherboard? It looks like the monitor is currently using DVI, and the board has a DVI-D port; both also support HDMI. I ask because Sims 4 doesn't always get along with displays run through a USB hub.
If that alone doesn't help, please update the driver for your graphics chip. You can get the newest driver directly from AMD:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart afterwards and before trying to play.

I took all the steps, still gathering information for your inquiry. Yeah I was more comfortable with that older monitor. But I plugged in the newer one and the is a difference in stability.
One of the in-game errors that I am having is the career promotion bug, where I am getting endless raises instead of promotions. Which makes it hard to do Super Sim without cheating lol.
gdover92 The raises instead of promotions issue is a known bug:

Let me know if you have any more crashing or related tech issues. Hopefully not though.

Hello, I made a discussion a few days ago about my save, and we were able to identify a device resolution that helped resolved most of my problems. My sims are starting to spazz out on my lot. To the point that I've lagged so bad my son died in a house fire because the fire spread faster than they would respond to my commands.
My hardware is not the best, and I've got to work on it, but I really feel like there's some proactive steps I'm missing that can resolve this and make the game more bearable during this patch season. Thank you!
gdover92 I've merged your new post with your existing thread because it's easier to keep all the relevant info in one place. A new thread would be better after a couple months of the game running fine, or if you got a new computer, but this seems to be a continuation of the same problem or set of problems.
Anyway, is this your old save or a new one? Is the lot your own build, or something from the Gallery, or a default EA house; and does moving to a blank or default house help with the lag? You don't need to save your progress; this is just a test.
There may well be steps we can take to get the game running better, but the first question is whether this is the game overall or something more specific, for example the build you're using.

This is the original save I posted about. The lot is a build I've been using for a couple of weeks now from the gallery. I tested them in a new, significantly smaller home and it was smoother. It could be the build my estimated worth is 685k~ simoleons, but if I can't function on an end-game lot then idk what I'm doing.
gdover92 And this is now with the monitor plugged directly into the computer, not into the USB hub? I just want to make sure.
The issue could be how complex your lot is, not necessarily its worth but the sheer number of objects, or the use of the MoveObjects cheat in certain ways. It could also be something entirely different. Please let me know what lot you've been building on, and if you can, place this build on a different lot and test it there.
I'd also like to see any data related to current crashes. The next time the game crashes, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your next Sims 4 crash. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

Yes, the newer monitor I avoided to use because of the shift in color was too bright for me, but I'd rather have a working game right now and figure that out later. But it is the monitor that you prefer with HDMI (I assume). As far as move objects, I try not to place too many items using it, if I can help it.
There has been a lot of small bugs over the past few week since patching began, too many to recount, I really don't expect things to be perfect I just want to be able to comfortably play my game until I can get some hardware upgrades.
I'll do ask you ask as far as running the crash report. I'm reading "perfmon /rel" correctly? Or it is perform?

Also, it's on an ocean lot, the 50x50 in Sulani, so it couldn't be placed anywhere else.
