SilverJanSims Please try another new save though, just to be absolutely sure, and try placing these builds in Newcrest and somewhere else. If your lots are on the Gallery, I can also try them on one of my computers to see what happens. Just let me know what they're called, and list your username on the Gallery if it's not the same as the one you have here.
If your builds are only in your library, you could upload them to a free filesharing site and send me a link, that is if you're interested in having me test them.

Eco Modern Family' build as I was able to share the Engle family just before getting my new laptop. It was originally built on the Shipping Container lot in Evergreen Harbor. I was wanting to move the family out of that world on my new laptop, so tried putting it on one of the three 20 x30 lots next to the Sandy Run in Newcrest but it kept crashing the game. The moveobjects cheat is needed when placing. I don't know if trying to move the build from it's original lot to the new one in Newcrest caused the problem although I've had the same issue when trying to add gallery builds from other players as well.
I'll install the game again tomorrow and try again with a new game save and see what happens. I'm playing in Sims 3 this evening with one of my households there tonight. I couldn't share the link here but the picture of it is below.
I wasn't able to transfer my previous game saves to the new laptop so I don't have any of the builds in my game library at the moment.
