Game Crashing Whole Computer After Latest Update

No matter what I do, when I'm playing the game it causes my whole laptop to shut down. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to be working at all. I've kept it plugged in this whole...

I'm having this exact issue. I have no idea what to do. It's hard to support this game when I can maybe only sit down once a month to play- and THIS is what we come back to over and over again.
