LiviaJewel1 There's nothing in your dxdiag that points to an obvious issue. The Sims 4 crash entries aren't helpful: the game crashed because it crashed, because of an access violation. And this is a type of error that's too generic to be useful on its own.
Since you've established that a new save is fine, try your sims on a different lot in your main save. Test with a blank or EA-made lot, nothing from the Gallery or your own library. And test in a different world. If this is fine, the problem is the lot, neighborhood, or world, which at least narrows things down, and you can test further from there. If you get another crash, test your sims in a new save.
You don't need to save your progress during any of this. The point is to try to find out how far-reaching the problem is, and then you can decide what to do from there.
