nonbinarz Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know whether there's any pattern to the crashing: sim-time of day, lot, activities, anything you can think of. That includes reusing the same sims or house; it even includes playing with a fairy, or with a sim that has custom tattoos or skin details, or using a new house on the same lot.
I have been having the same exact issue for almost 2 weeks now. I have done all the troubleshooting that has been suggested so far, uninstalling and reinstalling graphic driver, sims 4 game, ea app, removing mods/cc, etc. I am attaching a dxdiag as I am all out of ideas. If I repair the game I can maybe play for about 10 or 15 minutes, but then it crashes to desktop. Other times it just crashes to desktop almost as soon as it loads. Any help is greatly appreciated.
