Game loading in progress wont let me save

Question

I have recently gotten my sims married and after i brought my sims home from the venue it wont let me go into build mode because it says "Game loading in progress" i have some mods but i dont know if i should remove them and see if that is the problem,i also have cats and dogs and i have seen that other people have had the same problem when they had cats and dogs.

for troubleshooting it's always best to start by removing your mods. You can test on a copy of your save if you don't wanna loose the cc on your sims.

The game loading has been caused by mods for most people so far so, try without and if it works, start figuring out which one is causing the issue.
