Game Not Starting

At this point, I cannot get my game to start up. It's been about a week. I have completely removed all mods and cc. I have uninstalled; reinstalled EA, app recovery, refresh. all the windows updates. Uninstalled the Sims 4 and reinstalled the Sims 4. I have done a complete factory reset on my HP Omen Gaming Laptop. I have moved all the files, created a new folder. I've done the dxdiag. I've exhausted my resources.

When I click play the circle of death is just flashing three times and then a white screen appears.

Okay, this worked for me. At least I can play the game.
Click the start menu
type graphic settings and open it
scroll down to sims 4 and click the drop down
change GPU Preference to Power Saving.
May need a restart but this had gotten my game to load.

I believe this problem comes from the last Sims 4 update. There is no way this problem is happening similar to lots of people and the problem is of our pc's or consoles. I’ve got a modern pc, a very good one that runs every other game I have but not sims, since the update.

same thing here :((( i verified files, did everything and it refuses to launch the game. keeps going to the launch screen with the sims 4 then just exits.

To me it happened the same thing as you, ma'am. I also have a HP OMEN Laptop 16'' and ive tried everything and much more, nothing works, it has been like this for almost a week too. It is terrible since i have a lot of add-ons and i cant play as well.
