Game turning monitor off and then freezes

I'll post my DxDiag at the end.

Okay so, for awhile, I believe it's been since I installed Get Together, my game has been crashing. But, it doesn't just go to the desktop, it will turn off my monitor (The screen will go black and then say something along the lines of "not connect" or "no source" etc). If I have the sound on, I can hear the game music skip almost, indicating that it is frozen. I am then forced to hold down my computer's power button and force it to turn off. It will also occasionally just freeze, making the similar skipping noise, and then power off my computer.

I have tried taking out CC and mods, clearing RAM, repairing the game, turning the 32 bit on, changing monitors, putting a fan on the computer in case of overheating (which isn't the problem. The temp stays normal) changing graphic settings, changing origin settings, etc.

I have a feeling you guys are going to tell me that it's my graphics or something, but I don't know much about computers, so I thought I would post it anyways.

Let me know if I didn't post my DxDiag correctly because, I am a serious computer rookie, hahaha. Thanks in advance.

Update. I'm now trying the "Rename your file" and will see if that works. Sorry that I hadn't tried it before I made a post.

It did nothing. Crashed 5 minutes in.

Your computer is generally a bit underpowered for the game and that graphics chip is not supported.

I can't think of anything else you could try.

@abbytheepic Hmmm, this sounds like a graphics card crash. One thing that might help -but no guarantees -  is to perform a clean reinstall of your graphics drivers. That is removing them fully then installing a clean set.

A few years ago I had similar "weirdness" on my machine until I took this step, turns out I had a bad driver that wasn't getting detected even when I updated my drivers as normal.

Anyway, I hope this helps, but as crin says, it might be down to your machine too.

Thank you. I just thought it was weird bc it just started doing it when I've had Sims on their since October (which is when I bought it)

Then you should be able to put in a graphics card but make sure it has enough cooling and the power supply unit has a  high enough voltage. If unsure, ask someone to help you out.
