Hi, thank you but it didn't work. I did this with Origin and the EA app both just to see if it would make a difference and created a new C Games Folder so it was clean. After doing that twice, still having the same issue of the game crashing upon Sims 4 screen. I used Revo as well to do the uninstalls. Awesome program though. So now I just wait for EA?
@MERBEARXO It sounds like you're not having the same issue after all. The original poster is seeing a "game data missing or damaged" message, which happens before the game even launches, whereas you're seeing a crash at the launch screen. These two problems have completely different sets of causes and therefore somewhat different approaches to troubleshooting.
On that note, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@MERBEARXO Please disable McAfee entirely and see if you can play. Each Sims 4 crash in your dxdiag is accompanied by a McAfee crash, so that's the first place to look. As long as you don't open anything other than Sims 4 and Origin or the EA App, your computer should be safe. If this does help, you can set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and the game launcher you're using within McAfee and test again.
If that doesn't help, uninstall any Razer software you have and restart your computer. If this works, you can try reinstalling it, which is sometimes sufficient to fix the issue. But simply disabling the software doesn't always help.
EA put out the fix today, finally updated. Thank you for all the help!
