for a couple of weeks now, the game just loads a white loading screen for a second and then crashes. it doesn't show an error code.
i've tried repairing it, clearing EA cache & restarting the computer each time to try and fix it. every now and then it will load fine, but it's happened too many times now where it just doesn't open for multiple times in a row.
i have over 300GB space free on my computer & it's up to date.
i have no CC or mods.
does anyone have an advice?
update: i've also tried doing a clean save, no luck. here's my dxdiag

emsutton99 Thanks for the dxdiag, which lists two different kinds of Sims 4 errors. The breakpoint errors have a few causes, one of which is an issue with the graphics driver. Since your currently installed driver is from August, it's worth installing a new one instead. You can get it here:

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Choose the Custom (not Express) install method, and check the box to perform a clean install. Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
