Gameplay issues

I've been having this issue for over a year now. This issue caused me to stop playing and I've recently decided to play again and still I'm experiencing the same issue. I've repaired my game more times than i can count, removed mods, swiped my computer clean of an trace that could be colliding with my gameplay. I have re-installed my game multiple times and still nothing works. Every time I go to actually play the game, the screen turns black, the gameplay icons are still on the screen but they are glitched, I'm not able to move my camera or do anything and my sims is still able to move around while i can't see. The first time i re-installed my game an icon popped up that said "unrecognized video card". I am very dishearten that my game continues not to work and i don't know what the issue is; at one point it wasn't even letting me re-install the game and kept not downloading. I would have the clear for enough space on my laptop, then the game would just not download. I would really love to be able to play the sims 4 again, and this saddens me because of how much money I've spent on packs and etc. for my game not to be playable. i really hope you can help me with this issue and it become solved soon, thank you. 

This was me being able to click some of the icons around the game at the time and it work, but im just not able to actually play

    I did the first option and yes, I do have an hp laptop. I followed the instructions and nothing has changed, expect now when i go to play it my screen will show the sims world, but nothing would be moving will my sims is still able to do actions on their own without it showing on my screen. I'm currently repairing the game again in hopes that it changes something, but I don't really know what to do anymore.

    pixelatedbarb​  It looks like your computer doesn't have a proper graphics driver installed.  Do you have an HP laptop?  It kind of looks like it from your screenshot, but it's too blurry for me to be sure.  If you do, HP should provide one if your laptop isn't too old.  Go here:

    Enter your serial number, choose your OS (just Windows 11 is fine) if prompted, click All Drivers, expand Driver-Graphics, and download the newest Intel and Nvidia drivers by version number.  The first number matters most, e.g. 32 is newer than 31; after that, the last four numbers matter.

    If that doesn't help, or you don't know what to download, or your laptop isn't from HP and the logo is just weirdly similar, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
