Get Into Hair And Makeup Doesn’t Change Anything During A Gig

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Famous, Get To Work, Get Together, City Living, Seasons, Island Living, Cats And Dogs. Outdoor Retreat, StrangerVille, Vampires, Spa Day. Backyard Stuff, Bowling Night.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look towards Get Famous acting gigs, getting into hair and makeup.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim gets into her hair and makeup for the acting gig, the animation goes fine, including the animation where the makeup artist gets the hair or makeup wrong. However, when she gets into her final look, nothing changes. The hair and makeup stays the same as it was before. This happens everytime and only very occasionally may only the makeup change.
What do you expect to see? The sim’s hair and makeup should be changed accordingly to the gig.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It was working before I took a small break, and then it started when I started playing again. All my mods are up to date and I haven’t downloaded any recently. So I presume it was one of the recent patches that triggered the bug.
