I bought the get-to-work pack last year. It's worked perfectly fine for me until tonight when I tried to play, it says I don't own the pack anymore and won't let me access my save. I've restarted the app, recovered my save, and even restarted my computer. How can I fix this?
No, I have never subscribed to EA Play
But I have had an Xbox game pass for many years which includes EA play.
I just checked, my game pass expired on Monday. I just now renewed it and "Get to Work" is back!
Thankyou for the advice, when I bought Sims 4 I recall finding GTW as a free 'gift' never realized the connection. Also I didn't know my game pass hadn't renewed so thanks again
SummerRay24 Bravo964 Have you ever had an EA Play subscription, and if so, has it expired? Get to Work is free with EA Play, and the subscription version can supercede a standalone copy if you have both, making it inaccessible when the sub ends.
If you're not sure whether or when you bought GtW, please go to ea.com, sign in, open Account Settings > Order History, and look for a purchase there.
Bravo964 GtW has never been free by itself, so I wonder if you did just have it through EA Play.
just repaired my game still tells me I need to purchase Get to Work
I downloaded "Get to Work" years ago as a free purchase and yesterday I opened the game to find it has disappeared. All my saves require it so none of my games are playable and your post I've found relating to this issue
I've had this issue several times already. I could always solve it by repairing the game in the EA App. Therefor you have to close the game first, then select Sims 4 in the App, click on Manage and then Repair. Once the repair is done, you can relaunch the game and try to access your save again.
