HELP PLEASE

I have a laptop 5060 gpu and i start up sims and the game is so tectonically slow it’s actually depressing. I can run GTA 5 with ultra settings and full graphics mods and my pc doesn’t even break a sweat. But with sims 4 i cant even move my mouse around without it lagging like crazy, before i get suggestions on lowering graphics. I have. I looked into the GPU config to find there’s no listed laptop 5060 gpu. I then went into my documents and sims 4, went into config and my device isn’t listed there either. What do i do because i don’t even want to play the game it’s for some else using my laptop and it’s frustrating us both.

    BoomBaClat1234​  I wouldn't suggest you lower the graphics settings, as that's not an actual fix for a GPU that should be running Sims 4 on ultra.  The fact that your RTX 5060 isn't in Sims 4's database is not the cause here—the game can use the hardware just fine as long as there are no other problems.

    For the issue itself, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
