Help Recovering Overwritten Save File for The Sims 4

Hello,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because I’m trying to recover a specific lost save file for The Sims 4. Here’s the situation:

  • I’m currently playing a multi-generation legacy family and have reached Generation 5. However, I’m missing the save file from Generation 2, which includes key ancestors and their spouses.
  • I played in generation 2 between Late September and Mid October.

I’ve already tried:

  1. Restoring previous versions of the Documents folder (none available).
  2. Using file recovery software like Recuva, but nothing was found.
  3. Checking the in-game Library and Gallery, but the specific Sims from that generation don’t appear to be saved.

Is there any way you can help me recover this save file or provide additional guidance? The ancestors in that save are important to the story of my legacy family, and I would really appreciate any assistance.

    @busiasrusia123  Unfortunately, you've already looked for the content in almost all the places it would exist.  It's possible you could get lucky with OneDrive, if it's ever synced your Sims 4 data.  Try onedrive.com, both My Files and the Recycle Bin; look for saves with the correct date, even if they're named in an odd format.  Other than that, the data is likely gone.
