i have been an avid sims player for years but recently into mods. i downloaded curseforge and downloaded MCC. opened my game with curseforge and enabled mods in my sims 4 settings. i then had to restart my game so the settings would save. now i cant open my game at all its says im missing vital information please repair your game via origin. I have since deleted curseforge, repaired my game i dont know how many times and uninstalled and reinstalled sims 4 itself. anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
@Jerrica94 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't help, please let me know what antivirus you use, if any. Please also post a screenshot of the error you're getting, for reference.
