Household & Build Issues Following Update

I haven't been able to play my household in a save made prior to the update that I've had for a long time. For some reason I cannot access build mode at all - the UI glitches out and it doesn't allow me to continue playing or show options typically in build mode. It cannot be accessed except from build mode and with the glitch, the household doesn't show either, but the household exists in the 'households' tab. It also shows any homes my main household is in as a 'vacation home' when it wasn't previously set to, or ever changed to, a vacation home. Before doing this, any time I opened build mode it showed as if the household owned a restaurant and wouldn't let me buy or edit anything; they never owned a restaurant. I can't even play the household at all at this point. This has been a problem since the 3rd of this month. To clarify: OTHER HOUSEHOLDS DO PLAY NORMALLY - except that NONE of the households allow me to save them to the gallery.

I do own several expansion packs and mods but I had ensured that I updated all my mods as soon as possible and I even removed the mods to see if the issue would persist - and it is. My partner owns many of the expansion packs I own and isn't having this issue. Anyone know how to fix this?
