Your response prompted me to take another look at my files both on my laptop and my desktop. Apparently I only transferred over my saves to the desktop. If you are like me and have a lot of builds/sims that you would never want to share publicly but you still want to keep transferring over this data is important.
Note: This is only for Windows and only after you have made sure that nothing is being saved to the OneDrive
C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ - This is were all of your saves are and where you would put a mods or CC folder.
- "saves" - this are all the saves that show up when you are in the main menu and select Load Game
- "Tray" - All of the builds, sims, or rooms that you may have saved to the "My Library" tab in the Gallery
- "Screenshot" - the screenshots you took using any in game image capturing
- "Recorded Videos" - If you've recorded anything within the game the videos show up here
Whenever I have to move my game file to a new computer I am just going to compress and save "The Sims 4" folder first. That way I don't leave anything behind.
