How do I change the location of my Mods folder?

I installed the sims 4 on my D drive where there is available space (This PC/New Volume(D:)/Program Files(x86)/Origin Games/Sims 4) but when I started the game it created a new Electronic Arts folder ...

Are you able to access your saves files now that you have moved them to the D drive? Is it only the mods folder that isn't working correctly or are you having issues with your saves and library items also?
