Close The Sims 4 if it's running. Open the EA app and go to Library. Find The Sims 4 in the main panel and click on the three dots in the top right corner. This should open a small menu with Repair as one of the choices. Good luck.
EA wouldn't give me a repair option on their Sims 4 game that I have in my library so I have to redownload it that's the only option I got with this new update 2025. Ugh

Open the EA App. On the left side of the page, you should see the icon of your Sims 4 game. Simply click on that, then click on the one that shows up on the next page. Select Repair on the drop-down menu. Best of luck.

I'm actually having a similar problem, I don't have the option to repair in either EA or Steam. I don't even have a manage option in EA. and the Steam manage option doesn't have anything for repairing the game. I'm mostly having the problem of not being able to save my files. and I've even restarted my pc, and redownloaded sims, which didn't work. Not even my mods are the problem. :/ I'm stumped until another update I guess.
