How to fix error code 00000008: 00000000000000c8 in The Sims?

Same here. im tored of all this but i really love sims4 so im still trying. i did everything that was told in this diskussion exept for the new admin account. thats the next step for me. the 00000008:00000000000008 code isnt showing anymore but i still cant download anything from the library and cant start after setting up characters. its just stays the same after pressing okay. and the only way to exist is to altf4. i have it on steam too and my first problem was that my game did not show the menu or anything after going into building mode. but after removing all the mods its was okay again. then a supporter from a sims4 server told me that running games with onedrive is really bad. then i disconnectet it, then the sims4 folder was gone, then we fixed that somehow but then the problem with the error code and the library an stuff came up.i reinstalled origin, and sims4, cleared origin cache, and so much. im thinking to just connect it back to onedrive maybe it works again. but i will leave that as last thing to do.and i attached my dxdiag.

@Kuschel_Keksi  Did the game work in the new Windows account?  The issue may in fact be that you disabled OneDrive, more specifically that Sims 4 is still trying to save the user files to OneDrive rather than on your computer.  However, reenabling OneDrive comes with its own issues, one of which is that if OneDrive is full, you'll see the same or a similar error.

Please also let me know the default location of Documents in your main user account.  Open a File Explorer window, right-click on Documents in the left panel, choose Properties > Location, and list the full location you see.

Hello, I have been getting the same delivery error code message for at least 2 weeks now, and nothing seems to resolve it. I've deleted my Origin cache, repaired and updated the Sims 4 to the current patch, and I've taken all of my CC and mods out. I also can't get past the CAS Screen and play my game, and I think that's connected. I'm going to attach my dxdiag file in case that's needed.

@K_Kenzie989  I've merged your post with another thread for this same issue, and (hopefully) for the same error code you're getting.  If the code you see is different, please post the full code.

Hello, it's the same code. I've tried all of the suggestions including the thread with the other code, and none have worked. The only thing that I wasn't able to complete was running the game on a local admin account. When I tried it, the game crashed because it suddenly ran out of memory. Will contacting EA Help staff help?

@K_Kenzie989  I doubt contacting EA support would help: this isn't an account issue, so there's nothing to fix on EA's end.  But you can try if you want.

Aside from the suggestions in this and the other thread, I really don't know what to say, unfortunately.

Hello. How did you solve the bug in Sims 4? I'm getting the same error too. Code 00000008: 00000000000000c8. I really don't know what to do. I would appreciate it if you could tell me the steps you did. Note: My game is original. I bought it on Steam. Also, I don't use an antivirus program. Just Wndows itself. I will be glad if you help me.
