Hud disappears after build mode

This just started happening to me with the latest update. I start my game and it will play like normal but when I enter build mode and move something or buy something new, then exit build mode the hud disappears. you can re enter build mode and the hud with all of the build mode is gone and I have to save and restart the game to get the hud to come back but the same thing happens when you enter and exit build mode again.

My game is un-modded and worked prior to the most recent update.
